What We Do for Local Businesses

The Rogue River Chamber of Commerce works hard to help local businesses thrive.

• We help stage numerous Annual Events that bring hundreds of new visitors each year and help get local citizens downtown and spending money
• We fund and operate the Rogue River Visitor Center to attract and serve new visitors
• We host this Website and promote traffic through our Member Directory
• We produce and distribute Local Map Pamphlets with cost effective business card ads featuring member businesses
• We bring about Mixer Events to help local businesses network
• We work with the City Administration to raise awareness and develop solutions for challenges facing small businesses
• We help local businesses with limited resources to Give Back to Our Community in meaningful and significant ways
• We conduct the ongoing Shop Local | Rogue River campaign

In 2010, we launched a large and sustained Shop Local | Rogue River campaign to educate our citizens about the importance of spending their dollars with local businesses.

We conducted this campaign through numerous media including:

• Glossy postcards handed out to every customer at every business in Rogue River over two different week-long periods in 2010
• A giant, 30' banner that hangs in different locations throughout Rogue River all during the year
• Red, round stickers featured on the doors and windows of nearly every business in Rogue River
• A website, promoting the reasons to Shop Local
• The city water bill, sent to every resident of Rogue River
• The Rogue River Press, thanks to their generous donations of ad space in numerous issues and their ongoing articles that feature a different local business each week. Thank you Rogue River Press!
