Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Come celebrate Christmas and the lighting of our community plaza! Saturday, December 3rd at 6pm in the downtown plaza.
They'll be treats, singing, and if we're lucky, an appearance by the jolly old elf himself!

2011 National Rooster Crow Weekend
June 24th - 26th
Since 1953, Rogue River has held the National Rooster Crow Championship the last Saturday in June. The community event has grown into a 3 day event, kicking off Friday night featuring a band with free entertainment. Saturday morning is the well known "Rooster Crow Parade".
After the parade, there is a whirl wind of activities, arts and crafts, food booths, a special kids area, and of course the National Rooster Crow Contest and Human Crow Contest. After the winners circle, head over to the Woodville Museum Gazebo for another free concert that afternoon.
Rooster Crow Car Show
Sunday continues with the Rooster Crow Car Show for all of our antique car enthusiasts and Boat Races on the Rogue for thrill seekers. We have lots of winners and door prizes; car clubs are welcome!

Participate in the Rooster Crow Run
Another perennial favorite of Rooster Crow weekend is the Rooster Crow run. The event features both a 5K Run and a 2 Mile Walk. Saturday, June 25th, 2011 at 8 am
Participate in the Rooster Crow Art in the Plaza
Two other fun events happening on Saturday are Art In The Plaza and Kids Art In The Plaza.

2010 Events
February 27th, 2010: 5th Annual CRAB FEED FUNDRAISER to benefit Miss Rogue River Scholarship
Held at the Community Center located at 132 Broadway, Rogue River, OR. Time: 5pm to 8pm. There will be Raffle Prizes, fun, food, laughter and Music provided by "River City". Wine tasting provided by Trium and beer available by Homestead.
Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $25 per person (purchased ahead of time) or $30 (at the door).
Seats are limited! Tickets are available at Bradley Realty, Umpqua Bank and the Community Center. Bring your crab cracking utensils! Come join us for this annual event. You won't want to miss out.
May 1st, 2010: Chieftain Track & Field Classic
Some of the top Athletes in the State will gather at the R.C. Gail Track and Field complex at Chieftain Stadium to compete for both individual and team awards in a wide variety of events. The Rogue River Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor this event to help bring families into the community and promote our members. Chamber Members will have the opportunity to hang thier business banners on the track and field fence.

This year's theme: ROOSTER RUMBLE 2010!
After the parade, there is a whirl wind of activities, arts and crafts, food booths, a special kids area, Boat Races on the Rogue and... of course the National Rooster Crow Contest and Human Crow Contest. After the winners circle, head over to the Woodville Museum Gazebo for another free concert featuring "River City" starting at 3:30 that afternoon.
